Window Treatment Installer - Westlake Village | Los Angeles, CA

About the Role:

Window Treatment Installers aren't just people with drills and tools. They collaborate with designers to address potential issues at in-home installations and keep track of their workday to stay on schedule. They are technologically advanced and know the methods of installing shutters, blinds, and shades. Installers are supported by scheduling staff, and master installers.

Qualifications:

• Loves a fast paced work environment and room to learn new things
• Should be organized, and detail oriented and able to keep track of workflow
• Strong communication and relationship building capability and critical thinking skills that adapt to different situations
• Must be able to collaborate with different types of people
• Demonstrates being technologically savvy and have the ability to use hand tools as necessary
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and transport them according to standard procedures

You Will Get To:

• Develop innovative plans to execute your installations in the best possible way
• Prioritize your scheduled installation time to be efficient and productive
• Strategize how to take the measurements from the designer and coordinate the best outcome for installation
• Communicate the process and technical aspects of the product to a client
• Work with state of the art Hunter Douglas products with automated capabilities and use high tech functionality across all parts of the workday

Career Growth:

Advancement for qualified candidates will go through the Hunter Douglas apprentice program to become a Hunter Douglas Certified Master Installer, Master Shutter Installer and Motorization Specialist.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
