Job Description
You have a passion for supporting people growth and development and delighting employees with quality learning programs and opportunities to grow their skillsets, that meet their needs and all the little details that make up a great employee learning experience. The Instructional Designer will research, recommend, and design content for a variety of learning and performance solutions, and manage development activities for related projects. The focus of this role is to design and build learning solutions based on learning and performance objectives, job-specific procedures/activities, and measures of success. To function effectively, the Learning Designer must have excellent instructional design skills, communication and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple and competing deliverables, and experience designing content for adult learners in a variety of formats, including e-learning storyboards, self-guided and instructor-led and different modalities including audio, video and animation.
What You'll Be Doing:

You understand US Region SBU’s current and emerging business needs, priorities, and market trends in order to act within the business context.

You will provide instructional expertise and guidance on assigned projects ensuring the development of engaging and innovative learning solutions.

You will apply instructional design models and learning theories to design effective learning programs.

You will ensure quality by adhering to sound adult learning principles.

Choosing appropriate learning strategies and media that support learning outcomes

Maintaining broad industry knowledge and understanding of marketplace trends to develop best-in-class learning solutions

Providing creative designs for blended learning environments incorporating both synchronous and asynchronous options

Conducting needs assessments to identify critical capability gaps and determine learning requirements aligned to strategic priorities

Developing and curate learning paths to build capabilities with existing learning solutions
