Position Summary:

This position’s primary responsibilities will be to provide instructional development and program electronic-delivery support for courses delivered through the Texas Rising Star program throughout the Gulf Coast region. Resources will include online courses, specialized professional development, and other learning tools for child care teachers, center directors, and families.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide design and production advise to program teams.
  • Designs, develops, implements and maintains basic curriculum layout in electronic formats including web-based, CD-ROM and video.
  • Facilitates and trains program team members on effective content and content delivery.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

MS Office software.
On-line course management development software.
Client/customer focus.
Good interpersonal skills.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

Three (3) Years of experience preferably in on-line course management development software. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
