Essential Functions
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis (ISQA) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track instructor in the Department of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis in the College of Information Science & Technology. This position focuses on courses and curricula that are central to the Management Information Systems program, and may include systems development and integration, management of systems development projects, and emerging areas of technology within organizations. We seek a candidate with a professional record, previous experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion goals within academia and the community. On-line and face-to-face instruction are expected.

Work Schedule

Additional Duties
Additional duties include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and providing departmental, university, and professional service. This position will not be eligible for Graduate Faculty and thus will not be able to serve on graduate student committees. Teaching grad courses is possible with approval of Grad Lecturer application by Graduate Studies.


Required Qualifications
Successful applicants will hold a PhD in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Science Education, Cybersecurity, and/or related areas, by the time of employment.
