Summary
Provides and assists with education (i.e. early pregnancy, childbirth, siblings, safe sitter, breast feeding, CPR, etc.). Provides education to meet internal & external standards and impact the quality/safety outcomes by utilizing a cost effective, systematic problem solving approach. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and learning. Provides education that increases knowledge, increases safety, reduces fear and anxiety and promotes lifestyles that improve health and quality of life. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Preferred: Baccalaureate, diploma, or associate degree in education or related health field (science) preferred.
Minimum: Formal education/training in adult education and/or teaching techniques required.

- Plans, coordinates, facilitates and conducts training programs and activities.
- Develops educational programs based on identified internal and external needs and requests.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programs.
- Maintains current knowledge on childbirth, safe sitter, breast feeding practices, CPR, etc., and application of approaches to support desired learning.
- Participates in activities designed to improve health and wellness.
- Provides leadership.
- Participates in ongoing educational activities.
- Completes assigned goals.
