Job Purpose
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Read blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, assembly and schematic drawings.
Study sample parts, and receive verbal and written instruction regarding work assignments.
Obtain or make arrangements to receive material to be assembled.
Prepare work space and gather necessary tools to complete task.
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, and examine parts for defects such as pinholes or chips.
Keep accurate and detailed records of activity.
Adhere to I.P.C. soldering standards
Troubleshoot and repair electronic problems in logging and perforating tools.
Assist in changes to documentation drawings when needed.
Use and understand test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, frequency meter as used in production.
Maintain a clean work area.
Adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
Required Skills/Experience
High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred.
Three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing experience in a perforating organization a plus.
- Able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Able to provide improvement to processes as required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and record that conforms to company’s insurance policies. ATF, DOT, and State or other required Hazmat training if applicable.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Able to perform routine, repetitive, detailed work.
