Our local independent agency is looking to hire a customer service representative to join our team! Ideally, this person would be a customer oriented, motivated individual who would be given the opportunity to become office manager within the year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide competitive
• Establish client relationships
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support such as responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently.
• Develop sales opportunities with both existing and new clients.
• Use a customer focused needs based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Maintain and download office documentation.

Qualifications:

• Willing to obtain a Property & Casualty License
• Experience in insurance and customer service (1+ years)
• Associates degree, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Positive attitude
