The Evergreen Clinic is a premier outpatient private practice which located in Kirkland, WA. The clinic was established more than 25 years ago, to provide high-quality mental health care to the Seattle metropolitan area and Puget Sound region. We use a combination of medications, therapy, and education to interrupt acute episodes of illness and to break the cycle of recurrence with a holistic approach that also includes guidance on diet, exercise, and other lifestyle choices. We work with both patients and their families to help them understand the illness, so they are better equipped to adhere to treatment, make lifestyle changes, and detect early relapses.

We have an open position for an Intake Specialists to work out of the Kirkland office. This is not a remote position initially, but has the potential to become hybrid, with some days remote and some days in person. It will require someone to become a part of our collegial and friendly office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Attend & contribute to meetings and trainings.
  • Conduct client/patient intakes with patience, accuracy, and collaboration with staff & supervisor.
  • Contribute insights to system of intake and standards of operation.
  • Follow policies, protocols, and procedures according to established guidelines and as directed by supervisor.
  • Track and communicate referral sources to supervisor, ensuring proper placement and referral process.
  • Participate in regular quality assurance tasks related to client/patient and referral satisfaction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meet or exceed metrics as assigned.
  • Ability to exercise compassionate empathy in the service of client/patient connection to services.
  • Familiarity w/EMR systems and basic IT knowledge.
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed to work in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in related behavior health field.
  • 1 year experience conducting intakes in behavior health or medical clinic.
  • Adequate industry-specific vocabulary comprehension of behavior health terminology.
  • Ability to work independently, willingness to consult supervisor for assistance/guidance.
  • High degree of documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to sit for long periods, take calls independently, complete paperwork in online system while
  • simultaneously talking with patients.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in related behavior health field
  • 2 years’ experience conducting intakes in behavior health or medical clinic.
  • Proficient industry-specific vocabulary comprehension of behavior health terminology.
  • Proficient ability to work independently, willingness to consult supervisor for assistance/guidance.
  • Proficient documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to sit for long periods, take calls independently, complete paperwork in online system while simultaneously talking with patients.
