Description:

As an Intake Specialist, you will have the opportunity to assist in connecting clients with services to help them on their path to well-being. We take a fully integrative approach to supporting the individual and the entire family – mind, body, spirit, and community. This position will work closely with members of the military community to help connect veterans, service members and their families to a wide range of services offered through our Hope for Heroes program. Additionally, will have the opportunity to help individuals experiencing many unmet needs in our community through our Healthy Community Initiative, which provides services and connection to community resources for those who need us the most. This is a full-time, hourly position of 40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Answer a multi-line telephone system with high call volume

· Prepare and maintain client records to meet compliance requirements

· Conduct Intake Interviews with new clients

· Schedule appointments using an Electronic Health Records System

· Check in clients and collect co-pays/payments

· Various administrative tasks, including but not limited to scanning, copying, filing, and faxing

Qualifications:

· Bilingual-Spanish preferred

· Bachelor in Social Work or related field preferred

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Competent with computer programs, such as Word, Excel & Adobe

· Comfortable learning new computer programs and software

· Able to collect cash, count money, and return correct change

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
This position is an in-office position with masks currently required in common areas of the building. Masks are optional once in office space. Must be comfortable checking in clients in-person.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
  • Mental Health Office: 2 years (Preferred)
