Are you an experienced HR professional looking to lead the department? This client is an international nonprofit looking to hire an Interim Associate Director of HR. This person will oversee the HR function and one HR Coordinator. The ideal person has 6+ years of experience in HR and demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and building relationships across the organization. Previous experience with an international organization or in the nonprofit space is desired but not required. This role is onsite 1 day/week and they do have a vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages funds by planning, developing and controlling the departmental budget.
• Works with benefit plan consultants and vendors, interprets state and federal laws and regulations, and works with advisory committees to review and implement new and/or alternative benefits initiatives.
• Develops/amends personnel policies, practices, and procedures for approval by the organization’s management team by listening to employee concerns, reviewing best practices, and identifying opportunities to improve employee satisfaction.
• Improves organizational effectiveness and productivity by overseeing the planning, development, and delivery of professional development and job-related skill training opportunities.
• Acts as resource partner to the DEI Council and organization’s management to advance all types of diversity, equity and inclusion within operations and field programming
• Assists field offices with talent acquisition, employment, and retention services, performance management and job evaluation.
