Responsibilities:
A Typical Day Might Include:
INTERIOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE
INTERIOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE
- Working independently to address design challenges and make decisions that achieve project and client goals.
- Completing all phases of the design process including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration on small to larger projects.
- Developing interior finish materials and construction details.
- Designing and preparing interior finish presentation boards for review by clients.
- Processing shop drawings and checking to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Preparing technical specifications to suit project design requirements along with cost estimates and budgets.
WORKING COLLABORATIVELY
- Working within an integrated architectural and interior design team to develop all phases of the design process and coordinate interior design with other disciplines.
- Meeting with product vendors to qualify material specifications.
- Providing frequent client contact with some travel required.
Qualifications You’ll Need on Day One:
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design.
- At least 5 years of experience as an interior designer.
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience with furniture specifications.
- Previous exposure to a broad range of market sectors.
