The preferred candidate will have an interest in working in a dynamic and collaborative global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types; including the design of sports venues, convention centers, community buildings and transportation facilities.

We are seeking a passionate, creative, engaged, and technically proficient Interiors Team Manager to join us in a dynamic and collaborative design atmosphere. Applicants must possess technical abilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors interiors staffing resource.
  • Works with project teams to provide interiors staffing assignments as needed.
  • Forecasts interiors staffing needs and identifies possible needs that would require hiring new staff.
  • Identifies interiors staff availability and related skillsets.
  • Participates in staffing meeting with Project Managers.
  • Works with Project Managers to define Interior Design services scope
  • Works with Project Managers to review Proposal Requests and Contracts
  • Manages interiors team seating assignments.
  • Review and comment on resumes.
  • Participate in pre-screening and follow up interviews.
  • Participates in recruiting meetings.
  • Assists in resolving assignment conflicts between interiors staff and Project Managers
  • Issues interiors staffing communication and reports.
  • Point of contact for staff to discuss projects, future assignments, and career goals/development.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision is preferred.
  • Completes duties with minimal supervision; responsible for quality of work product.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain effective professional communication with project team members.
  • Interacts well with project teams in a manner that builds productive relationships.
  • Strong organizational, relationship building, and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of project work plans, schedules, staffing, and budgets with an aptitude in financial management required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum 8 years of experience in an Architecture and/or Interiors firm, with experience in Resource Management or related role.
  • No licensure is required.

OTHER:

  • Some travel required.
  • Some overtime might be required.
