Here are a few of the details regarding the job expectations in order to make sure this is the right position for you. The Flex registrar position can provide a flexible work schedule if you are able to meet the following requirements & have the availability to pick up a variety of shifts.
SLV Flex Registration Job Requirements:
- As a flex registrar you would build your own work schedule & expected to maintain a minimum of 64 hrs a month (no schedule will be provided to you, because employees build their own schedule requesting shifts from our When2Work tradesboard, internet access is very helpful in this position)
- This is just a minimum requirement if you want to work part time or full time you absolutely can...you are in charge of your schedule.
- Willing to work at these various Intermountain Healthcare hospitals-LDS Hospital-downtown, Primary Children's-by the UofU, Alta View-Sandy, Riverton Hospital & Intermountain Medical-Murray (mileage is not reimbursed)
- Willing to work in various areas-ERs & POS (Radiology, Lab, Surgery, etc)
- Available to receive multiple phone calls to cover last minute sick calls (cell phone is very helpful in this position if you do not have a cell phone we can provide a pager)
- Work 3 holiday shifts a year in an ER environment (these 3 holiday shifts are assigned to employees it is not something the employee chooses from the tradesboard-if unable to work assigned holidays it is your responsibility to find coverage within the department-time and a half is paid when working premium holidays)
