General Summary of the Position

Plans, develops, and coordinates creative digital media efforts to tell the story of Jasper Ventures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(following are accountabilities included but not limited to):

  • Supports the Jasper Ventures culture and drives our Kingdom Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values through digital media.
  • Attends various events at Jasper Ventures to capture digital content.
  • Works closely with Marketing & Communications Specialist to understand the digital media needs of Beyond Business and Human Resources for various events, communications and publications (i.e. BrightSign communications, social media, event logo graphic design, benefit booklets, email signatures).
  • Assists in creative production of captivating and inspiring digital content.
  • Captures engaging content, photos, and videos to recap internal events, tell employee stories, share organizational stories, market to clients, recruit candidates, onboard employees, and engage with the community.
  • Ensures social media strategy is executed by developing, curating, and distributing content on all social media platforms to drive employee, client and community engagement and build the Jasper Ventures brand through thoughtful, relevant commentary.
  • Participates on the editorial board for the Jasper Journal creating interesting graphics and laying out content to ensure storytelling and digital design are cohesive.
  • Creates and edits video content for various uses to engage various stakeholders (i.e. new hires, potential employees, clients).
  • Ensures posted photos and videos remain updated and relevant.
  • Designs promotional materials for employees and clients, as well as sponsored events.
  • Relates to employees, existing clients, and potential clients in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner, appropriately responding to their questions, concerns, and complaints.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
  • Committed to standards of the highest professionalism and ethical behavior. Handles confidential information with discretion.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience working in audio/video capture, editing, graphic and motion design, and streaming media technologies.
  • Ability to conceive and communicate creative ideas and strategies in visual communication.
  • Understands digital space, social networking, social marketing tools and trends.
  • Ability to write copy for video and social media.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team and juggle multiple projects.
  • Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail.


  • Possesses a sense of urgency and problem-solving ability.
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Ability to rely on instruction and use pre-established guidelines to complete assigned work.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with managers and employees at all levels.
  • Exceptional administrative skills, including strong computer abilities.


Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, photography, design, and/or public relations or similar degree program is required.
  • Four or more years of digital media experience with demonstrated expertise in photography, videography, and social media.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite and Panasonic cameras.


Work Context:

  • Based out of the Corporate Office in Whitehouse but will travel from time to time to capture digital media content at other locations to assist with communications and marketing strategy.
