Seeking an experienced International Patent Specialist to be located in Chicago, Palo Alto, Denver, San Diego, Seattle, office. This position will provide full support to the patent attorneys/agents in filing and maintaining international and foreign national applications and patents. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years international patent filing experience and possess knowledge of rules according to the 37 C.F.R, MPEP, PCT Rules and Regulations, Manual of Industrial Property, foreign national patent office literature and a vast array of internet sites detailing various foreign countries patent prosecution rules. A college degree and previous law firm experience is preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills and careful attention to detail. Responsibilities include: maintain and monitor foreign patent docket daily; correspond with clients advising of foreign filing due dates; review and analyze related U.S. and PCT prosecution file histories; review and analyze correspondence received from U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, World Intellectual Property Organization, foreign national patent offices, and foreign associates; keep abreast with literature describing changes in international and foreign national patent prosecution rules; work with assigned annuity specialist to manage annuities /maintenance fees payments. WE offer a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package. There is a 1560 Yearly Billable Minimum requirement with a 10=15% Bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
