Job Overview:
At Cotopaxi, people are always at the heart of what we do, and in our Distribution Center we not only support our customers' direct orders, but also our brick & mortar storefronts, wholesalers, and more! As the International Shipping Specialist you will oversee our outbound orders for all international vendors. Your focus will be ensuring timely shipments to these international destinations to help products get into the hands of our global customers. They/she/he has experience in international shipping, supporting large scale orders and are excited to leverage their experience to help innovate on our current processes. As a Specialist you will be a lifeline to many of the new llamas supporting them by sharing your knowledge and stoke for being a part of the international team!

Our DC is located at 1737 S 5350 W in Salt Lake City. This is a Full-Time position, and shifts being: 8 am - 4 pm M-F.
What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities):
- Overseeing all outbound international shipments ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
- Create shipping documentation for all outbound international wholesale shipments and ensure shipments meet all requirements of the customer’s routing guide and international shipping regulations.
- Leverage multiple shipping platforms including freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate cross-functionally with other leads, departments, and external vendors to ensure orders get out the door accurately and efficiently.
- Provide accurate reporting in the Warehouse Management System.
- Share the load. Prioritize the department’s needs appropriately between yourself and your fellow llamas.
- Have a strong floor presence. Not only be a resource for your team, but across the warehouse as well! Assist other areas depending on seasonal volumes (cycle counting, unloading shipments, etc).
- Help to keep the distribution center organized and clean.
- Operate equipment including reach trucks, order pickers, and double jacks (training available).
- You don’t mind being on your feet and can lift 50lbs.

Your Experiences:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse – you understand and enjoy the work!
- Knowledge of international shipping processes including customs documentation such as CIs, SLIs, BOLs, and packing lists. Familiarity with following routing guides for shipping.
- Proficient in the Google Ecosystem, Microsoft Suite, and Netsuite and previous experience using a Warehouse Management System is preferred.
- Managing a large bucket of inventory, often with a tight space capacity.
- Prior forklift experience is preferred.
