Job description

World Speaks is looking for language interpreters with availability during mornings and afternoons, individuals who live in the Omaha Metro Area are preferred, those who do not will be considered.

The nature of the position is On-Call. Interpreters must be highly proficient in both English and another language.

The job requires High School GED or Equivalent, an interpreter certification or 1 year + experience interpreting in different settings, flexible schedule, and your own transportation (in case needed).

Spanish

Karen

Burmese

Somali

Mandarin

Dari and Pashto

World Speaks works together with the members of our community to eliminate language barriers and increase cultural awareness in the Omaha Metro community. We need to increase our reach and ability to help bridge these gaps.
