POSITION TITLE: Interventionist (with Possible Coaching)

LOCATION: Flatonia Elementary

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with FISD Teacher Pay Schedule

LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 187 days + coaching duties

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to

help them fulfill their potential for academic success

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College

Experience: Successful classroom teaching experience preferred, but not mandatory

Licenses/Other: Hold valid Texas Teaching Certificate

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES: 

Knowledge of core academic subject assigned 

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction 

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior 

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills 

Work cooperatively and constructively with other faculty, staff and administration 

Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration 

Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures 

Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes 

Ability to pass US Department of Transportation alcohol and drug test and annual physical
