The Opportunity
The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore is seeking a full time Investment-Administrative Assistant to join the Finance Department. This position provides clerical and administrative support for the Associated’s extensive investment program. The primary responsibility will be aiding in electronic records collecting and maintenance. In addition, the administrative assistant will be tasked with managing the robust quarterly investment meeting schedule involving multiple investment committees and sub-committees. And general office and logistical support. A team player with a customer service orientation, who is technologically savvy and comfortable with financial data, will be a great asset to the team.
NOTE: All active full-time, part-time, and temporary staff are required to provide proof of full vaccination (COVID-19) as a condition of employment within The Associated system as of November 15, 2021.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Electronic Records Collection and Maintenance – collect and compile monthly and quarterly statements from 50+ investment accounts for the investment program. Work with vendors in finalizing monthly valuation of the investment funds.
- Schedule investment committee meetings both quarterly and ad hoc, which includes scheduling manager presentations, Zoom meetings and compiling materials for the meetings.
- Client services, help institutional clients access client records and information, including audit responses and proactively scheduling meetings for client update presentations.
- Provide general support to the investment team.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical.
- Strong proficiency working in Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
- Ability to learn new systems and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and be a team player
Salary Range: $48,750-$53,000; salary commensurate with experience.
