Overview:
The Investment Operations Associate will partner closely with CFR’s investment team supporting the daily functioning of the group. The investment team is responsible for the oversight, management, and monitoring of the endowment assets as well as advising the Investment Committee in establishing risk and return objectives and investment policy. CFR is supported by a $530 million endowment portfolio which is allocated across 20+ external money managers investing in a diverse array of asset classes and strategies including global equity, hedge funds, and private investments.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to)::
  • Coordinating the regular flow of reporting from external money managers (both existing and prospective), filing these appropriately across the team’s SharePoint system, and collaborating with both the investment and finance teams on prioritizing action items and follow up
  • Completing and tracking the required subscription documents for new or add-on investments
  • Maintaining and coordinating all supporting Know-Your-Client (KYC) documentation
  • Preparing required capital call documentation and tracking approvals and execution
  • Monitoring and executing regulatory/compliance documentation requests
  • Liaising regularly with CFR finance staff, supporting their work on monthly closings, annual audits, and tax filings
  • Building knowledge and comfort with CFR’s performance reporting software system (Solovis) to facilitate monthly and quarterly reconciliations and portfolio data downloads
  • Providing administrative support to the investment team including maintaining the team calendar, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, supporting the budget process, coordinating expenses, and supporting the preparation of materials for Investment Committee, Investment Advisory Group, and Board distribution
  • Partnering with the investment team to perform other duties as assigned
Pay Range
$55,000 to $65,000 per year
Pay commensurate with experience and education
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement
  • Relevant work experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem solving, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction when needed
  • Excellent written and verbal professional communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint
  • Desire and ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, partnering with a small team
