Hello, Candidates!

Staffing Studio is seeking an organized and efficient person to fill the hybrid role of Nanny/Household Manager in Ipswich. This position guarantees 25 hours paid per week and scheduling is somewhat flexible. We definitely need someone every Thursday afternoon, Friday all day, and every other Monday. Beyond that- there is flexibility for the right candidate. If you'd prefer a set weekly schedule, we can accommodate all 25 hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays. During hours that the children are at school, the role will be fulfilling household management tasks like grocery shipping, meal prep, running errands, organizing, and tiding up (no deep cleaning!). During hours that the children are present, the caregiver will help with school drop offs and pick ups, transporting the children to and from sports, classes, and activities, and otherwise providing all necessary childcare.

SCHEDULE: Ideally- half days Thursdays, full day Fridays, and full days Mondays. However, as long as you can guarantee coverage during hours that the children are present, there is room for flexibility to fill the 25 hours per week. We could consider going to 30 hours per week for the right candidate, if needed. Let's chat about options!

Charges: 2 children ages 5.5 & 8

Rate: $30.00 per hour

Job description:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
• Facilitating age appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Taking the children to and from activities, lessons, sports, etc.
• Maintaining a tidy work space and cleaning up after the day
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Grocery shopping and completing other tasks and errands as needed
• Transporting the children in your own vehicle
• Pick ups and drop offs as needed
• Maintaining a consistent routine and schedule
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• LOVES WORKING SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN!
• Can work early mornings on Fridays and at least every other Monday- (7:00am arrival) must be available to help see the children to school.
• Organized, scheduled, motivated and task-driven
• Conflict resolution skills
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition
• Background Check (provided by agency)
• Driving Record (provided by agency)
• Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
