Summary:

Develop and test new applications, analyze software needs of the company, accurately service and maintain the existing software systems, help users understand the operations of the systems.

Duties:

• Develop web-based applications for internal and external use.
• Work with departmental experts to analyze, design and develop business legacy systems.
• Develop infrastructure to enhance the development/deployment process.
• Design and implement data models for business systems.
• research any problems that may arise and implement changes to prevent it from happening in the future.
• Assist in the implementation of projects.
• Assist in the documentation of projects.
• Assist in the design modifications/development of new software.
• Assist in solving problems being experienced with current operations and systems.
• Assist in modifying or the creation of documentation.
• Participate within a team to maintain and enhance existing systems, primarily focused on our customer website.
• Answer calls outside normal business hours.
• Attempt to identify and remedy problems.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any problems.
• Assist help-desk personnel according to assigned schedule.
• Cross train with other departments to gain knowledge of the company.
• Create documentation of cross training and report information.
• Determine work efficiency and system effectiveness during cross training.
• Organize effectively to work on multiple projects.
• Maintain an efficient use of time during project development.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Director of IT, IT Manager, or Project Lead.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Modern JavaScript experience. AWS experience. Unix/Linux experience. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of design patterns. Ability to troubleshoot difficult issues and think critically.

Programmer/Analyst II: 2+ years of experience required. Experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). 1+ years of software development experience.
