Job Title:   Business Systems Analyst II
Duration:  1 year Possibly Conversions FT
Location:   Ladson SC  (Hybrid) 
Onsite/Remote:  Hybrid

Description:

Summary:

•  Maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level.
•  Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget.

Education/Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
•  2-4 years’ experience required

Responsibility level:

•  Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor

Skills:

•  Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
•  Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
•  Basic knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models (Required)
•  Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc (Required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
•  Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
•  Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
•  Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared
