The Business Analyst of IT Delivery will work closely with IT Delivery leadership and to help analyze, build, and maintain process and project documentation to support the department’s objectives. The Business Analyst will assist the PM Team on assigned cross-functional projects across the enterprise providing strategy and project execution support. This position will work with employees at all levels, and must be comfortable in a technical setting communicating with both business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Supports IT Delivery activity including process analysis, system analysis, measuring project success, and stakeholder and IT leadership reporting
- Assist with providing support and documentation for select larger Technology and/or cross-functional initiatives, including the creation of project artifacts (i.e. Project Charters, JAD minutes, project plans, Gantt charts, etc)
- Understand the business asks and the supporting technology in order to specify processes and interpret them to help define requirements
- Assist Project Managers in development of project plans and use associated project planning tools as needed
- Plan and develop small projects, including requirements gathering, project plan creation, time estimates, resource management, risk management, and issue troubleshooting for documentation efforts
- Assist with generation, analysis, and reporting of IT Delivery metrics
- Maintain IT Delivery reporting, weekly Project updates
- Work with IT Delivery leadership to expand and refine standardized templates and procedures, including building and maintaining Project Playbooks
- Work with IT Delivery leadership to maintain and build PM training documentation and resources
- Understand the current business and technology landscape, priority levels, and what needs to be done. Be ready to provide support to IT Delivery leadership, Delivery Managers, and PM team as needed
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required
- 1-2+ years of professional business analyst experience

Excellent presentation skills with medium- to large-sized groups

Strong analytical skills, ability to effectively analyze and resolve issues
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Kanban, Agile)
- Working knowledge of project management tools, especially Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be team oriented
