The client is seeking a candidate who will be responsible for performing technical and analytical tasks in the maintenance and/or support of computer application software (programs) systems.

The ideal candidate work closely with Vital Records Branch. Events (NCDAVE).

The ideal candidate will serve as administrator to ensure efficient and effective operation of the system, for internal and external users and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will also support Statistical Services Branch staff to ensure data integrity is maintained throughout data transmission to state, local, and federal agencies. This regularly requires working collaboratively with Vital Statistics to ensure the NCDAVE system generated reports and the data contained therein are routing to all the appropriate parties.

Some of the overarching duties of the role include but are not limited to the following:
- serving as an NCDAVE Administrator;
- fielding and resolving Microsoft Dynamics administrator helpdesk tickets;
- maintaining Microsoft Access databases;
- sending data to SSA, CDC, NCHS, NAPHSIS, North Carolina external registration partners, etc., and
- monitoring data exchange contract deliverables.

The ideal candidate will work closely with a core team of technologists whose roles collectively support the technological functions of the State Center for Health Statistics.

The ideal candidate will work with Vital Records subject-matter experts, Statistical Services staff, and the NCDAVE Systems Support staff.

The ideal candidate will leverage creative and critical thinking to resolve complex issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
