Job Title: IT Compliance Analyst

Location: REMOTE

In this role, the IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for administering, executing, and analyzing a broad set of control-based activities to support IDT’s compliance objectives, inclusive of general controls, SOX, PCI-DSS and Information Security, amongst others. As part of the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance team, they will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in contributing to the development and sustainment of trusted processes & procedures, minimizing risk to IDT’s important mission.

Responsible for administrating & analyzing a broad set of control-based compliance activities, including user access management, vendor risk management, SOx, software assessments, backup management, job scheduling, change management, etc.

Prepares for and supports both internal and external Audits, working directly with audit peers to retrieve and organize evidence for critical assessments. Entrusted to facilitate necessary remediation findings to closure and sustainment.

Works directly with enterprise peers to incept and accomplish varying compliance objectives, including annual and quarterly self-driven audits and small-to-medium sized compliance-based projects.

Entrusted to independently drive new compliance-based requirements to realization, leveraging various project management techniques to organize, facilitate and visualize progress.

Coordinates compliance-based responses amongst peers to answer queries from both internal and external customers.

Identifies innovation opportunities to GRC department processes, including software enhancements, visual management, automation of evidence gathering, standard work improvements, evidence precision improvements, recognitions, etc.

Collaborates with Danaher platform peers for a variety of compliance thought-leadership and cross-company opportunities for improvement.

Assists with assessing infrastructure compliance to critical business functions, including PCI-DSS, PII (GDPR, PIPL), ISO 27001, etc., making recommendations to reduce risk and ensure compliance to standards.

In a collaborative setting, assists with bringing experience and opinions to establish best practices in the compliance space for a genomics business.

Creates and publishes newly established and evolving policies and procedures documentation in appropriate and organized repositories. Applies critical consideration to changes, considering several variables from their organizational vantage point.

Contributes to the setting of strategic direction for the GRC area, working alongside a spectrum of stakeholders, from peers to leadership, discussing the evolving compliance landscapes on business and their impact on investments and focus for our planning cycles.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 3 to 5 years working on a GRC Team or related technical discipline.
3-5 years’ experience engaging with and supporting internal/external uudits.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES

Excellent communicator, effective in articulating compliance concepts and gaining support through organizational peers.

Basic knowledge of related disciplines, including backup/recovery practices, MS active directory, network segmentation, user provisioning, cloud vs. on-prem, ERP security role frameworks.

An effective, self-motivated, independent, remote worker, who is detailed-driven and results-oriented.

A mentor to other IT professionals and business stakeholder to appreciate compliance concepts.

Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a high morale/high-performance team culture.

Good experience with project management competencies, including tactical action planning, administering cadence management, facilitating associated project-level documentation, visual management techniques, regular communications, etc.

Comfortable with navigating new applications related to compliance; fluent with Microsoft Office, Teams and Sharepoint.
