The Design Enablement & Automation team is seeking an experienced engineer with strong software engineering skills to develop data-driven automation tools for improving business efficacy and gaining better insights into engineering processes.

The Design Enablement & Automation team is seeking an experienced engineer with strong software engineering skills to develop data-driven automation tools for improving business efficacy and gaining better insights into engineering processes.

Responsibilities : Some responsibilities for this role may include:
- Proposing and developing new features and enhancements for existing applications
- Root-causing and debugging software issues
- Developing data-driven applications and resource management applications to improve engineering and operational efficiencies
Skills and Experience :
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Statistics or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Python, SQL and JavaScript
- Experience in full-stack web application development
- Development experience using the following technologies:
- Python: Flask, or similar backend web frameworks
- Unix and shell scripting
- Docker containerization
- Has strong problem
- solving skills and is detail-oriented
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred:
- Comfortable with working with big data across the full data pipeline, including ingestion, preprocessing, exploratory data analysis and Client modeling
- Knowledgeable in data science, machine learning, natural language processing and statistics concepts
- Experience with using the following technologies:
- Python: Apache Spark, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow
- JavaScript: d3.js, Angular
- Cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes
- Java development experience
- Experience in EDA / semiconductor industry
- Knowledge in physical design, design verification or emulation
