Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time IT Disaster Recovery Analyst, responsible for administration of IT Disaster Recovery plan management for the enterprise IT Disaster Recovery program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management and coordination of IT Disaster Recovery plan management
- Management and coordination of IT Disaster Recovery exercise management
- Engage and participate in the development of availability and recovery tools and technology that enhance and support resiliency and recovery processes
- Assist Business Continuity administration in conducting business impact assessments with business units to determine critical business processes
- Facilitate event management and execution of IT availability and recovery plans
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college.
- At least two years’ experience working with various facets of enterprise IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Candidates should possess knowledge of the following:
- IT Disaster Recovery plan management
- IT Disaster Recovery testing methodologies
- Technical depth of IT infrastructure and services to assist in the preparation of related recovery procedures
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skill in task and time management.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple activities/tasks in a rapid changing environment to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, consisting of both IT, business users and vendors.
- Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours, or as needed to perform duties
