POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Document Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing existing documentation and updating it to reflect current policies and guidelines, as well as creating new documentation for new processes. This position will work with department subject matter experts to review archived documentation and ensure it is properly organized. The role requires exceptional written communication skills and the ability to create clear, concise process documents guiding users through complex tasks and policies.
This is a temporary assignment to last approximately six months.

- Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy, of department process documents.
- Create new process documents from the templates and outlines provided.
- Go through existing documentation and update to the new template.
- Help outline new process documents by interviewing or reviewing documentation by SMEs.
- Identify and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, verb tense and format errors, ambiguous wording, and inappropriate sentence structures.
- Partner with CyraCom’s Compliance team to ensure process documents fulfill the company’s compliance requirements.
- Partner with internal departments to ensure process documentation is communicated to the necessary end users.
- Curate the existing documentation and make sure that reference information is verified and that all documents have the correct numbering system.
- Work with department SMEs to review archived documentation and ensure the information is properly and effectively organized.
- Routinely communicate with the appropriate contacts to seek clarification and coordinate revisions.
- Determine effective ways to deliver critical messages, consult and recommend ways to improve communication, and enhance messaging quality.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in professional copywriting, technical writing, or content development.
- Experience translating specialized content into readable, user-friendly language.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands: This position has a sedentary physical demand, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. This position is required to continuously sit, talk, hear, see and operate controls with hands.
Environmental Factors: This position works in an indoor office environment with a moderate level of office noise.
Equipment Operated: Personal computer, printer, copier, fax and phone equipment.
