The ETL Developer will design, develop, test, and implement programs to extract, transform and load health insurance data. This data will be mined to produce potential overpayment investigations or utilized to perform complex business analysis. In 2021, the Company processed over $600 billion of medical and pharmacy claims data for our health insurance clients.

Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.

Setting: Professional office environment (with remote option available outside a 70-mile radius from La Grange, KY).

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements for complex data and business systems
• Develop technical specifications based upon functional specifications
• Ensure that solutions are built to meet defined expectations and quality standards
• Develop ETL systems using Visual Studio, MS-SQL, TFS, MS-SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, following Agile development processes
• Perform analysis and provide technical assistance for problem resolution

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, or closely related field, or significant equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of IT experience with 2+ years of experience as an ETL Developer
• Experience with MS SQL Server including queries, triggers, and stored procedures is required
• Proficiency with MS Visual Studio and Excel is required
• Experience with SSIS, XML and Team Foundation Server is desirable
• Knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, utilizing a SCRUM framework
• Familiarity with medical and/or pharmaceutical claims data is desirable
• Strong focus on quality demonstrated through developer testing and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
