Exciting opportunity as an IT Help Desk / Plant Analyst with a long-standing global customer where dedication to teamwork, speed, simplification performance and empowering their associates has made them a trusted partner to the world's top manufacturers.

The successful candidate will collect information from end users about system performance and handle upgrades, hardware and software installations.

Position: Plant IT Analyst/ Help Desk

Location: Belleville, MI

Pay: $25.00 to $27.00/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OTHER DUTIES

• Answer and respond to help desk calls and emails and gather relevant information
• Administer the help desk tracking software; log and prioritizing incoming requests
• Escalate calls as required, providing necessary information to recipient
• Follow up on outstanding calls and update software accordingly
• Provide status updates to requestors
• Complete and coordinate new hire, employee exit and move requests
• Generate management reports used to monitor the help desk process through help desk ticketing system
• Provide miscellaneous solutions whenever possible. Solutions may include: Resetting passwords, dispatching new and replacement equipment, application installation and support, printer maintenance, email software maintenance/ management, remote user VPN support

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Microsoft Windows and Office troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service and organizational skills with an attention to detail
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
