The Help Desk Technician will assist the IT Department in diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of software and hardware related issues in addition to, providing technical assistance to end users. Specific position duties/responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network related issues.
• Provide individual instructions and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.
• Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
• Performs routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
• Maintain and updates record keeping systems and other IT documentation.
• Assist with the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of IT projects.
• Assist with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or 2+ years Information Technology Technician/Help Desk experience
• Knowledge and training in: Computer Hardware, Basic Networking, Operating systems (Microsoft Windows and Linux), Cloud Technologies and Application support experience with a working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
• Familiarity with a broad spectrum of IT technologies. Ability to learn new technologies; and balance and prioritize many projects simultaneously.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Great people skills to be able to interact with management, vendors and co –workers.
