Job Position: IT Junior Systems Administrator

Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with some nights and weekends

Hourly Salary: $30.00 and up depending on experience

About the Team:

We are a small department of creative and motivated people with many responsibilities that affect the coworkers, partners, and communities we serve. Our team is responsible for research, development, installation, modification, maintenance, coordination, and integration of all information systems and technologies. This position requires in state travel, flexible work hours including some evenings and weekends, the ability to independently lift equipment up to 50 lbs. You will learn new and legacy systems, technologies and we hope to learn from you as well. You will not be bored and will have the opportunity to explore new ways of making everyone's job and life better.

  • Virtualized, clustered server environment running MS Hyper-V
  • Windows 7-11, Server 2008 and above & Linux operating systems
  • Dell SAN
  • Dell and HP servers
  • Intel, Dell & HP user workstations & laptops
  • Cisco routers, Adtran & Aruba Wireless and networking
  • MOE, DSL, cable & fiber data, Voice T1, analog, SIP
  • Palo Alto & Watchguard Firewalls
  • Mitel phone systems
  • Medical device interfaces for the clinics
  • 365 applications
  • Veeam
  • Helpdesk & IT mgmt. systems
  • Alarm & temperature monitoring systems
  • Mobile devices (cell phones, laptops, tablets)

Required Education:

Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates Degree in computer related field with 2 years of experience preferred. May substitute 4 years of relevant experience for degree

  • Preferred certifications include: A+, Network+, Any MS certification

Other Skills:

Demonstrates effective written, verbal and organizational skills. Quick learner willing to become familiar with health center operations and their interdependence with technology. Ability to relate well with others in a team-based environment. Ability to work under limited supervision, utilizing time-management and prioritization strategies, accurately processing detailed information, and meeting deadlines. Relevant experience or education with information systems & technologies in the workplace. We are a Windows / Linux operation.
