Butterball Farms, Inc. is currently seeking an IT Manager who is responsible for all organization technology in a multi-site environment. The Manager is responsible for providing value-added technology solutions and technical support to the organization.

As an IT Manager you will:

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and its technology requirements.
• Manage and maintain operating systems for servers and workstations.
• Manage network operations, including multi-site LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wireless Access Points.
• Administer and maintain databases.
• Manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization’s technology hardware including, but not limited to, network equipment, computers, printers, and network cameras.
• Manage application software acquisition, installation, and maintenance.
• Negotiate and maintain support and maintenance contracts.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on hardware and software.
• Analyze technology requirements and develop functional specifications.
• Create and implement technological solutions to streamline functions and improve productivity.
• Develop and maintain technical system documentation, procedures, and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements.
• Ensure the availability, continuity, and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
• Participate in strategic planning and execution of the strategic plan.

We believe a successful IT Manager will have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in information technology 5+ years of experience in IT functions
• Knowledge of and experience with: LAN/WAN, SSL/IPSEC VPN, Windows Networking, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Internet Information Services, EDI, backup systems, network/workstation peripherals, firewalls, spam & antivirus software, computer hardware, barcode systems.
• Ability to think creatively.
• Ability to gather and analyze information.
• Ability to strive for continuous improvement and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Ability to continuously learn new technical skills and stay current with emerging technologies.
