Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Consults with all levels of management, staff and customers on services, products and automation or systems solutions for business problem solving and decision-making. As needed, provides the translation between the technical automation or systems solution and business line processes.
  • Provides tactical and strategic options and project recommendations as input to applicable project governance groups.
  • Coordinates and monitors all stages of project management including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure, ensuring compliance with System and industry standards, methodologies, and guidelines. Ensures delivery of necessary artifacts throughout project.
  • Develops project agreements or charters based on requirements, risk, and complexity of potential solutions, and creates project plans accordingly. Ensures all the project's technological requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and properly translated for implementation. This is for vendors & partners plus any internally managed project
  • Ensures agreement from project sponsor(s) and stakeholders is received for initial scope and project plans and any changes throughout the project life cycle.
  • Directs all aspects of the project team, including assigning individual responsibilities, tasks, and technical functions.
  • Identifies the project's key success indicators and manages the work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Manages to successful outcomes through identifying and addressing issues and risks.
  • Serves as a key liaison between project team, vendors, IT management, business line users/leaders, and plays a primary role keeping all the projects always moving.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings, surveys, and related reporting for Vendor relationship management.
  • Prepares and delivers written and oral communications, including presentations.
  • Facilitates and manages virtual calls with our various communities of practice to share to expand knowledge share throughout the organization
  • Support schedule management and coordination of program management check-in calls
  • Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates and on-going cost analyses. Evaluates completed projects in comparison to cost/time projections.
  • Serves as program or portfolio manager for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects including summarizing overall status for multiple projects.
  • Responsible for keeping all project and program related documents and deliverables organized and ensures approvals of all the deliverables
  • Coordinates with other PMs and the PMO to ensure consistency around communication and coordination on a regular basis
Qualifications:
PROFESSIONALEXPERIENCE/QuALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 8-10 years of direct work-related experience in automated systems, systems development, and/or an information technology environment, or equivalent combination of related higher education and experience.
  • Understanding and experience with project methodologies such as waterfall and/or agile.
  • Understanding and experience with end-to-end project lifecycle and standard artifacts.
  • Experience managing large scale projects and programs.
  • Managing Program and project budget – labor and non-labor related
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience.
