Vista Outdoor is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead all phases of a project, which may include programs involving multiple project work streams. This position must work independently and objectively, directing and managing work efforts of a project team, ensuring proper controls and processes are followed, and meet established functional objectives, quality, cost, and schedule goals associated with IT projects. In this role, you will oversee the analysis, design, execution, and support of assigned projects, including resource planning, budgets, and business communications. As a member of the IT PMO team, you will be responsible for on-going process improvements, developing a collaborative environment and building relationships with the business.
This is a fully remote position with the option if desired to work at one of our brand’s offices which are located throughout the US.
As the IT Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to:
- Develop project plans including key milestones/stage gates, timelines, and resources
- Develop project charter to include project objectives, roles and responsibilities, assumptions, risks/constraints, budget, and resource planning
- Develop communication plan and strategies to ensure all project stakeholders are informed and kept current on project status
- Manage change control processes to effectively control scope
- Manage cross-functional and vendor interdependencies
- Ensure standard processes are followed and high-quality project artifacts are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders
You have:
- Four-year degree, preferably in computer science or information technology, or equivalent work experience
- Experience successfully managing large-scale system and project implementations
- 3 years prior experience with a demonstrated progression to larger and more complex IT projects
- Specific experience managing ERP and/or application development projects
- Thorough understanding of Project Management principles, including agile methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Embraces and drives cultural changes through continuous improvement & learning
- Proven history of delivering results on time with strong customer focus
- Experience anticipating project challenges and proactively partnering with business stakeholders and team members to manage risks, issues, budgets, and resource scheduling
- Ability to communicate details of the project to both the business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Travel to other locations as required
You Might Have:
- PMP certification
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience managing projects in financial, manufacturing and distribution environments.
- Experience with complex financial process flows and legal entity structures.
- Experience with integration heavy ERP environments
- NetSuite experience
Pay Range:
$73,400.00 - $120,500.00
