AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking to add to our security team, providing security support for our infrastructure.

We are looking for a goal-oriented team player who understands the importance of customer service. The Security Analyst recommends security solutions, advises on systems and application-level security configurations, and investigates/mitigates security risks as required. This position also performs security monitoring, data/log analysis, content filtering and forensic analysis to detect security incidents, and provides expert incident response against the ever-increasing list of attacks to ensure the protection and compliance of company data assets. The successful Security Analyst will have a strong understanding of security infrastructure threats, risks and policies including PCI and ISO.

Desired qualities:

• 2+ years of experience as a security professional and developing security policies.
• 3+ years of experience working in a Microsoft environment.
• Strong understanding of policy, compliance, and best practice security principles.
• Previous experience with vulnerability assessments and testing.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, demonstrated self-starter, ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• CySA+ or similar certification is preferable
