Position Summary: The IT Support Specialist will assist the Information Technology needs at CBEM through the development and maintenance of solutions, systems and policies to manage hardware and productivity tools needed; CBEM’s client and customer databases, CBEM’s website and intranet, and CBEM’s security protocols on the IT platform.

The following is inclusive of but not exclusive of their responsibilities:

Information Technology Management

  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of CBEM’s IT equipment, including laptops, iPads, and cell phones for all offices.
  • Collaborate to provide front line support to CBEM employees via helpdesk.
  • Serve as the Administrator for CBEM’s productivity platforms (Google Suite, JAMF, ZOOM, TigerConnect, Vitru, Dashlane, Verizon, ISPs, Grasshopper, etc.)
  • Develop and update IT policies and procedures.
  • Train staff to use CBEM’s technology tools and adhere to standards.
  • Skilled in the configuration of productivity platforms (list above) and infrastructure (modems, routers, meshpoints, printers, A/V equipment, etc.)
  • Equipment selection, programming, shipping and orientation for new hires and closing accounts at termination.

Information Privacy and Security

  • Collaborate on the implementation of CBEM’s information security protocols as they pertain to equipment including cell phones, laptops, iPads and other office equipment.
  • The ability to collaborate and monitor the encryption and password protocols on all CBEM technology platforms.
  • Collaborate on periodic IT hardware audits to ensure compliance with CBEM’s security protocols.
  • Advise on CBEM security best practices. Develop, implement and train to the identified solutions.

Database Management

  • Provide technical expertise on the selection, development and maintenance of company EHR and CRM databases.

  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on reporting out data from EHR.

Digital Content Management

  • Maintain and keep updated the content on CBEM intranet and website including developing multimedia (audio/video) content for company stories, company announcement videos, and recruiting videos.
  • Support in maintenance of website hosting platform.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) Working Group.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems from a four-year college or university

Preferred Experience

  • Three or more years of experience with Mac OS, Google Apps, MDM solutions.
  • Three or more years of experience with setup, maintenance and support for hardware, smartphones and peripherals, preferably in the Apple environment.
  • Three or more years of experience with database management, EHR, and CRM systems.
  • One or more years of experience with cloud storage.
  • Experience with digital content management.
  • Experience with IT security setups and encryption applications.
  • Experience with internet network management and infrastructure.

Job Requirements

Successful Completion of Background Check

Valid California Driver’s License/Registration (travel to various CA Locations required)

Successful completion of the Live Scan from CBEM’s contracting agency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
