The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for deploying and administering IT systems both within the organization and supporting those contained in client accounts. The IT Systems Administrator will also be tasked with implementing SOC remediation efforts and enforcing compliance within the organization once in place.

IT Systems Administrator Responsibilities:

• Architect, configure and monitor cloud managed services such as Amazon Workspaces, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, AWS EC2, Google Chrome Enterprise, GSuite.

• Oversee and Implement ongoing SOC remediation and compliance efforts.

• Implement and manage disaster recovery processes.

• Perform routine audits of systems, including backups.

• Monitor availability, performance, integrity and access of various systems used by the organization.

• Right-sizing of servers and storage.

• Maintain strong, open communication with co-workers, supervisors and managers in a professional and courteous manner while cultivating a positive working relationship.

IT Systems Administrator Requirements:

• Business Awareness: specific knowledge of how IT relates to Aspen’s business strategy, workflows, and goals.

• Ability to dive into and identify trends for root cause analysis of issues as they arise.

• Focus on continuous improvement with an ability to show impact and ROI for various initiatives.

IT Systems Administrator Qualifications:

• Experience with operating systems; cloud-based technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.

• Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls.

• Experience with managing SOC compliance within an organization.

• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

• Must be able to speak clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.

• Strong analytical skills, technical aptitude as well as both written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly productive with minimal guidance or supervision.

IT Systems Administrator Desired Skills:

• Experience in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on cloud based systems.

• Hands-on experience with the AWS Management Console, AWS CLI and understanding of AWS networking and security services.

• Current AWS Sysops Certified Administrator certification is a plus.

• Experience managing teams of IT professionals.

Living in or Moving to the Grand Junction area is a must. This is not a remote position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000-$70,000 per year based on experience
