Create content free of careless mistakes that is clear, concise, accurate, and easy to understand.
Ability to work with a wide variety of colleagues and have a good understanding of the product you are writing about to write accurate content.
Have command of technical terms and vocabulary commonly used.
Adhere to the Style Guide and Microsoft manual of style when creating and reviewing existing content.
Create, maintain, and deliver quality user documentation and have a solid understanding of the various types of user documentation created.
Have a solid knowledge of the tools used to create user documentation.
Have a solid understanding of the documentation processes.
Take ownership of your role and responsibilities and initiate communication with Lead/Manager as appropriate.
Represent the documentation team during meetings and intervene as necessary for guidance and clarification.
Strive to gain knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodology.
