Job description
Join our IT team as IT Technician Support full-time opportunity. Four (4) 10-hour shifts (3-day weekends) to help support busy clinic and agency staff. Full comprehensive benefits package. Non-exempt pay grade 5, $18.10 per hour.
Phase 1 external application deadline is March 15, 2023.
Reports to Chief Technology Officer.
Under minimal supervision performs preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoots computer systems and peripheral equipment problems and provides end-user technical support throughout the company.
Looking for highly motivated, self-starter helpdesk support over the telephone to end-users by performing extensive troubleshooting relating to personal computer hardware, software or the network environments. Essential duties but not limited to:
- Repairs computers, computer peripherals and software when problems cannot be resolved over the telephone and via remote connection.
- Upgrades computer equipment including installation of operating systems and security patches, memory, hard drives and other hardware components.
- Tracks and monitors reported problems using a problem reporting system for timely resolution.
Installs new computer equipment, including system configuration, installation of operating systems and configuration of network connections.
MUST HAVE: High School/GED plus two (2) years of experience. Required experience in: personal computer support and troubleshooting experience including extensive experience with Windows 10. Of this experience, 6 months must have been spent in a helpdesk environment. Experience with Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook on Windows platforms.
An Associate’s degree in Computer Science or CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Net+Certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Must have a current valid driver’s license.
