We’re seeking a jamstack developer to join our growing web development team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern web development, experience working in a fast-paced environment, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep curiosity to keep learning and growing as a developer. They will be a skilled at working within multidisciplinary teams to plan and develop deliverables across digital platforms that will resonate with today’s consumers. *Must be located in Eastern or Central time zones and have Craft CMS experience.*

Responsibilities:

• Web development using JavaScript and CSS frameworks to build CMS-driven websites
• Install and configure a variety of PHP-based web platforms, such as Craft CMS, WordPress, etc.
• Build templates for emails and landing pages in automated marketing systems
• Partner with SMEs to adopt tools, techniques and processes needed to build and test unique web solutions
• Collaborate with art directors, writers, strategists and marketing analysts in the development of interactive design solutions
• Configure front-end build systems and back-end hosting environments
• Manage CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions)
• Test digital solutions across specified devices and browsers
• Use documentation, communities and web resources to troubleshoot issues and aid in web development
• Support client websites built by DS+CO and past vendors
• Brainstorm user experience, design and development ideas with project team
• Assure files are accurately prepared to specifications
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and client’s technical contacts

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Comfortable working with front-end and back-end development
• Experience developing production-level Craft, Wordpress, Laravel or NUXT websites
• Experience with automated testing preferred (Jest)
• Experience with accessibility standards and remediation preferred
• Experience with automated marketing preferred
