Position Description: This position entails cleaning 4 accounts located in Edinboro, PA. This is a part time, 6 day a week, Monday through Saturday (weekend hours could be performed Saturday OR Sunday) position with a total of 26.5 hours per week. The cleaning would be performed after business hours in the evenings. If additional hours were wanted, we have 1 account in Waterford that would add 7.5 hours on per week to total 34.5 weekly hours.

Our custodians are responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be Assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties using provided products, tools and procedures.
• Duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows and cleaning and moving furniture and equipment etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, including account keys.
• Open/lock facilities, enable/disable security systems
• 1-2 Years experience as a janitor, custodian, or housekeeper for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus, but not required
• The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is a must
• Able to perform job to ServiceMaster standards with little to no supervision
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Must be able to communicate in English

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Clearances are required to be completed for this position
