Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Tooling Coordinator in our Grapevine facility, reporting to the Quality & Engineering Manager. Duties include monitoring and maintaining equipment readiness, materials organization, tool calibration schedules and tool safety inspections. Tooling
Coordinator will update the company database as appropriate ensuring accurate materials and tooling status. This individual must have the ability to follow the requirements of an FAA repair station, follow the Quality Manual Procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with precision tools, torque wrenches, gauges, scales, pressure gauges, ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and electronic test equipment used in a Repair Station and calibration schedules.
• 2-4 Years’ experience in a repair shop with Aviation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated excellent work ethic.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Forklift Driver Certification and experience is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• A&P License or working towards license is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to routinely and safely climb and descend stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
• Tasks involve frequent walking, standing, some lifting and carrying of objects (10-50 lbs.), operation of vehicles and office and shop keyboards. Fine motor and dexterity/manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination is required for safe/productive operations. Occasional walking, bending, light lifting, or other restricted physical activities.
