In addition to using your mechanical abilities on a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to earn up to 10 DAYS of PAID VACATION in your 1st year of employment as well as PAY RAISES of up to $.50 at 30 DAYS and then EVERY 90 DAYS until top rate is reached and receive a SIGN-ON BONUS of up to $2,000. EMPLOYEES WHO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Prior halm jet press experience.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good eye for product quality and safety.
• Good attendance and reliable transportation to work.
• Offer and drive suggestions to improve overall process.
• Organize and implement improvement ideas in work area.

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?

• Set-up of presses to desired specifications prior to starting job.
• Properly inspect product visually by separating envelopes.
• Maintain accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids.
• Unpack envelopes uniformly and neatly while keeping up with the speed of presses.
• Place envelopes onto press feeds.
• Proper checking of order throughout course of production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packing of finished product.
• Remove paper jams and perform preventative maintenance on presses when scheduled.
• Adjust ink and water roller pressures on presses as needed.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety rules/regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience operating high speed printing presses.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and/or independent.
• Detail-orientated and display strong initiative.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and display higher level math knowledge (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
• Basic Understanding and use of computers and related software/databases.
• Ability to actively participate in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment.
• Physical demands include ability to bend, reach, crouch, frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs, and stand for approximately 90% of the time during an 8-hour shift.
