Job description
Provides community based supported employment and job development services for adults with developmental disabilities. As requested, performs related work. Under the direct supervision of the Program Administrator of Placement Services, an employee in this class is responsible for providing supported employment and job development services for adults with developmental disabilities to assist them in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment, or volunteer experiences.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and 3 years job coach experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting. Complete an OPWDD approved vocational rehabilitation or supported employment training program. Readiness to learn and utilize relevant agency computer applications. Two years experience developing voluntary or employment opportunities in the community. Knowledge of social security benefits as it relates to employment.
