As a Job Coach, you’ll serve as the lead direct support staff responsible for engaging adults with developmental differences in creative and meaningful activities to promote independence in a variety of community-based employment settings. You’ll support program participants to develop the skills necessary to accomplish their personal and professional goals.

Seven Hills ASPiRE!, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, offers innovative and creative day programming that provides opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and brain injury to develop skills necessary to pursue interests in employment, recreation, and social interaction.
What You’ll Do
Develop and facilitate employment programming for skill development in individual and small group settings with an emphasis on vocational exploration, skill-building, and obtaining meaningful paid work experiences.
Serve as the lead direct support staff at community-based volunteer and worksites, supporting the vocational, emotional, and behavioral needs of participants.
Foster program participants’ growth with an emphasis on person-centered care through varied instruction methods, offering opportunities for choice-making, and encouraging independence in initiation of tasks to support the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
Drive agency vehicles to transport program participants as needed and assigned, to and from the day program, community worksites and volunteer sites, and other community-locations.
Complete accurate and timely case management documentation and tasks as required per the needs of the program.
Treat all program participants, staff, and stakeholders with respect and dignity, and in an age and culturally appropriate manner.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive is required.
COVID-19 vaccination is required.
At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational or workplace setting. Some DDS case management experience is preferred.
Frequent sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, bending, twisting, climbing, etc.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion.
Ability to perform primary job functions while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
