Star City Heating and Cooling is in search of a Nebraska Licensed Journeyman Electrician. We are one of the fastest growing HVAC companies in Lincoln! Due to rapid growth we are looking to hire immediately and have great advancement opportunities available.

Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will be to connect HVAC replacement and new installation jobs
- Install, repair and maintain electrical systems and components for residential and light commercial applications.
- Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout of electrical and materials
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet code requirements
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Prepare materials for projects
Physical requirements:
- Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching
- Ability to frequently utilize gross motor skills including but not limited to: pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time during the regular work day; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds; climb up and down ladders, work at high heights, scaffolds and other climbing devices; carry tools and equipment; work while in stooped, kneeling, crouched, and crawling positions; be able to see naturally or with correction, to safely perform designated tasks.
Qualifications:
- Nebraska Journeyman Electrician License or working towards Journeyman License
- Proficient in residential electrical services, commercial and industrial buildings, and building codes
- 3 years electrical experience
- Willing to perform assigned tasks under all types of environmental and weather
- Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction/oversight
- Ability to prioritize work and work under sensitive time restraints
