Savage X Fenty is looking for a Junior Copywriter to join the Creative Marketing team.

The Savage X Fenty team is searching for an excellent conceptual thinker who will use writing and storytelling to support brand messaging and energize different audiences across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Savage X Fenty’s voice and contribute to the articulation of the brand identity. You must be well-versed in the world of pop culture and creative writing for the fashion/apparel industry across a range of brand touchpoints.

This position will report into the Senior Copywriter.
CANDIDATES MUST PROVIDE A PORTFOLIO OR WRITING SAMPLES AND MAY BE ASKED TO COMPLETE A SHORT COPY TEST.

What you will do:
  • Interpret briefs to understand project requirements and contribute to a clear and concise brand voice and tone across all brand touchpoints.
  • Ensure Savage X Fenty’s brand ethos and guidelines are followed through the consistency of your work, as well as edit and proofread brand copy.
  • Execute, and deliver copy for CRM, site, digital ads, print, promotional assets, editorial messaging, legal disclaimers, and any ad hoc brand marketing projects.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, and brainstorm new ways to create strong and memorable messaging.
  • Bring new content ideas for storytelling.
  • Daily cross-functional collaboration with, but not limited to, PR, Creative, CRM, Acquisition,
  • Merchandising, Design, Studio and Member Insights team members to develop branded content.
  • Ability to quickly grasp email KPIs in order to increase open and conversions rates.
  • Develop strategic data-driven recommendations based on insights shared by business stakeholders.

  • Organized and can efficiently manage your time—able to flex between multiple projects seamlessly while maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders.
  • A believer in and inspired by what Savage X Fenty stands for—the celebration of individuality while maintaining a fun, playful and unapologetic spirit.
What you can bring:
  • BS/BA in English or Journalism
  • 2+ years copywriting experience
  • Flawless writing skills, spelling, grammar, attention to detail and copyediting experience
  • Experience utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response
  • Works well under pressure; effectively handle tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
Nice to have:
  • Copywriting experience for a digitally native fashion brand or retail
  • Knowledge of SEO principles a plus
