Job Location :: Round Rock, TX
Position Description ::
- Need Jr. IT Administrator and Desktop Engineer to work in supporting server, requires a deep understanding and experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows virtual servers, software, applications, WAN/LAN networks, desktops and printers.
- Expert to explain IT specific terminologies and concepts of the software development tools to the users and apply those concepts to resolve the issues/failures in the tools.
- Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve ClearCase/ClearQuest, JIRA, HP, and UFT application and user issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve subscriptions for Windows/Linux server licenses and renewals/Unix (RHEL and Ubuntu) issues.
- Implement upgrades to Unix, Windows and MySQL databases and Plan, test, and implement Disaster/Recovery solution for Hyper-V cluster. This includes a project plan, meetings with appropriate teams, and resources.
- Qualified candidate should occasionally be able to provide support 24/7, and after hours.
